Email hi@golffellow.app and a person will answer. For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@golffellow.app.

To report a bug from inside the app, tap your profile picture to open Me, then Settings → Send feedback. A screenshot of the screen you were on is attached, so we can see what you saw.

Delete your account

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top of Home to open Me.
  2. Tap Settings, then Delete account.
  3. Tap Continue, type DELETE and tap Permanently delete account.
  4. If you signed in with Apple, Apple's own sheet then asks you to confirm once more.

This permanently deletes your account and your data: rounds, practice, swing videos, uploads, everything Fellow wrote and your profile. It can't be undone. The privacy policy lists exactly what is deleted and the few things deletion doesn't reach.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription, because Apple handles billing. Cancel it first in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

Can't sign in any more? Email privacy@golffellow.app from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

Report or block a golfer

On a friend's page, use the ⋯ menu to report or block them. Anywhere else a golfer appears — a friend request, a challenge, a match, a round's scorecard, a reaction or a search result — press and hold their name. A guest on a scorecard has no account, so you can report the name but not block it. To report or block a coach over their group, one of their drills, a lesson note or their listing in Find a coach, tap the group under Me → My coaches, or use the ⋯ on the drill, the note or the listing. Blocking ends the friendship and keeps the two of you apart in the app, and the golfer is never told. Settings → Blocked golfers lists who you've blocked, and Settings → Contact us has our address.

We review every report within 24 hours. Content or accounts that break our Terms of Use are removed. If something can't wait, email hi@golffellow.app.

Questions

How do I add my rounds?

Is there a limit on imports?

On the free plan, Fellow reads up to 10 imports a month for you, plus 15 extra in your first 30 days. An import counts once, the first time Fellow reads it; reading the same one again doesn't count. Entering a round by hand, live rounds and the Apple Watch are never limited. Premium has no import limit.

What does Premium include?

Premium is a monthly subscription at the price shown in the App Store. It renews automatically until you cancel, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Recording your rounds, your own figures and every friends feature stay free.

How do I restore my purchases?

Sign in to the Golf Fellow account you bought with, open Me, tap Golf Fellow Premium and then Restore purchases. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase. If it still doesn't show, email hi@golffellow.app.

Who can see my rounds?

Unless you turn off "Share with friends" on your profile, your friends see your name, photo, club, handicap and which data providers you're connected to — plus your rounds: course, date and score, simulator rounds included, and each round's scorecard (par, strokes and putts per hole), along with averages on courses you've both played, which drills you both have in My Drills, and which practice focuses you've passed. Never swing videos, anything Fellow has written, or the shots and other hole detail of a round you import.

A live round has its own switch when you start it: shared, its players and the friends of any of them can follow it hole by hole, even with your "Share with friends" switch off. Start it private and only its players see it (and a coach whose group you've joined); a round started on Apple Watch is always shared. The privacy policy has the full list.

How do I join a coach, or leave one?

Your coach gives you a link, a QR code or a code. Open the link, scan the QR code with your iPhone's camera, or tap Me → My coaches → Have a code from your coach? and type it. You can also open Find a coach under My coaches and ask a coach to join one of their groups; you're in once they accept.

To leave, tap the group under Me → My coaches and choose Leave the group… from its menu. Your coach stops seeing your data right away.

What does my coach see?

Before you join, the app lists everything your coach will see, and the privacy policy repeats the same list. It includes every round, hole by hole, including private rounds and rounds from before you joined. Your coach never sees anything Fellow writes for you, and the other golfers in the group see nothing about you.

I'm a coach. How do I sign in on the website?

Go to golffellow.app/coach and sign in with the email and password you use in the Golf Fellow app. If you signed up in the app with Apple or Google, your account has no password: choose “Sign in with a code from the app”, then open Coaching in the app, tap Coach website, and type the code it shows. Your coaching account is switched on by us: if you coach golf, tell us about yourself.
