Terms of Use

1. The service

Golf Fellow analyses your golf game from data you bring yourself and presents coaching and practice priorities. The service is provided by Björn Jóhannsson, Iceland.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use the app.
• You are responsible for your account and your chosen sign-in method.
• You may not upload content you do not have the right to use.

3. Subscription and credits

Premium subscription

• The subscription costs $9.99 per month; your local price is shown in the App Store.
• It renews automatically until cancelled. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
• The subscription includes 5 swing analyses per billing period. Unused analyses do not roll over.

Free use

A free account includes one swing analysis. It counts as used while it is stored in the app — deleting it frees the slot again.

Credits

• Credits are sold in packs of 1, 5 or 10 analyses.
• Credits never expire and stack on top of a subscription.
• A credit is only spent when an analysis succeeds. A failure on our side costs you nothing.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Payment and refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not take payment directly and never see card details. Refund requests go through Apple under their terms.

4. Coaching is guidance, not a promise

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the data and content you upload. You grant us permission to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service — for example analysing a swing video or reading a scorecard. See the privacy policy for detail.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass limits, payments or security controls.
• Do not use the app to harvest data about other users.
• Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights.

7. Termination

You may stop at any time and delete your account in the app. We may close an account that breaches these terms. If we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice where we can.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect loss, data loss, or handicap outcomes. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under mandatory law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the last change, and material changes will be announced in the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law, with disputes heard by the District Court of Reykjavík.
